Change of ownership at Sága

The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) has also approved the acquisition of 100% of the British-owned Sága Zrt. Shares by the Hungarian Master Good Kft. The Kisvárda based Master Good Group is the largest poultry processing company in Central Europe. Majority of its sales is coming from the export sales. The Group has more than 2000 employees. Sága Zrt., based in Sárvár, is Hungary’s leading manufacturer of further processed poultry products.

“This acquisition strictly fits into the long term strategy of Master Good Group, according to which we would like to expand our product portfolio. In the future big technological developments are planned at our plant in Sárvár. Main purpose and direction of these investments is to increase efficiency and developing new, high quality products. In addition to the growth in the domestic market, there will be a strong emphasis on increasing the export sales. The market experience and relations of Master Good Kft., which exports to 50 countries of the world, provide a sufficient professional background to this.
